Junior Accountant

Position Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Accountant to join our team remotely. The Junior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting our accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable financial reporting and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of accounting experience strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoice processing vendor management and customer invoicing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
• Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures including journal entry preparation and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and provide support as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage time efficiently.
• Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or similar professional certification.
• Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment.
• Familiarity with cloudbased accounting systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
