Position Overview:
GTN Technical Staffing is currently hiring a Junior Systems Admin for our client in Orlando FL. Under the supervision of the Systems/Network Manager this position is responsible for the maintenance and support of our client’s desktop and server infrastructure. This role will require you to provide onsite support at multiple locations within the Orlando area as needed ensuring that our clients' systems operate efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of Windowsbased servers including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support for endusers resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and reliability implementing necessary upgrades and patches.
- Manage user accounts permissions and access controls across various systems.
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting and assist in maintaining network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior team members to implement IT best practices and security protocols.
- Document technical procedures configurations and system changes.
- Assist in the implementation of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ability to multiple client sites within the Orlando area to provide onsite support as required.
- 12 years of experience in Windows server administration including Active Directory Group Policy and DNS.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP DHCP and VLANs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Detailoriented with excellent problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Orlando area.
