Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Designing implementing and maintaining Java applications that are often highvolume and lowlatency
• Conducting software analysis programming testing and debugging
• Collaborating with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Developing and integrating new functionalities into existing systems
• Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications
• Preparing and producing releases of software components
• Transforming requirements into stipulations
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
• Writing welldesigned efficient and testable code
• Maintaining and troubleshooting software
• Integrating software components into a fully functional software system
• Documenting and maintaining software functionality
• Working closely with QA engineers to define test cases and conduct automated testing
• Building and deploying Java applications in various environments
• Providing postimplementation support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or relevant role
• Strong understanding of ObjectOriented Analysis and Design
• Proficiency in Java with a good understanding of its ecosystems
• Experience with popular web application frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
• Knowledge of Relational Databases SQL and ORM technologies
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and web services
• Understanding of the MVC design pattern
• Proficient in frontend technologies such as JavaScript HTML and CSS
• Experience with testdriven development
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
