IT Technician

We are hiring an IT Technician for one of our clients in Burke VA.

Job Description:

• IT helpdesk/desktop/laptop support for IT service
• Provides desktop technical support and computer related trainings to all computer users at Wastewater Collection Division.
• General Duties & Qualifications include the following at a minimum Knowledge of basic office equipment including a personal computer electronic key system (EKS) telephone and headset.

Skills required:

• 12 years working experience with Active Directory MS Office 365 Windows 10/11 desktop/laptop hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Possession of a valid drivers license.
• Ability to communicate and record information accurately.
• Ability to question others to determine specific needs.
• Ability to deal with people patiently.
• Ability to proofread and correct errors.
• Receive and place telephone calls fill out and verify information on forms or records as well as proofread to verify that forms are completed properly.
• Perform all duties as IT Technician/Helpdesk support.
• Place daily IT service calls. Handle more difficult situations.
• Manage guide and motivate teams.
• A good team player

Experience required:

• 12 years working experience with Active Directory MS Office 365 Windows 10/11 desktop/laptop hardware and software troubleshooting.

Education required:

• Education or working experience equivalent to an associates degree in Information Technology Electrical Engineering or related field.

Working Hours:

• Provides onsite (6:30AM 3:00PM MF)

Additional information:

• Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds able to travel between county agency locations not more than 20 miles using county provided vehicle
