Requirements

*Fluent and business fluent German language skills (at least C2 level)


*You have at least 12 years of experience in the management of IT systems in organisations

*You are confident in automating repetitive tasks using scripts (eg. Bash) and also have basic programming skills (e.g. JavaScript or Python)

*You have handson experience with mobile device management (MDM) and computer provisioning for Windows and Mac

*We are geared towards remote work. However this role requires living in the greater Munich area and coming into the office every day


Tasks & Responsibilities

*Administration and budget management (contracts number of licences ...) of all companywide IT systems (SaaS)


*Supporting other departments by managing the vendor selection process for new SaaS solutions and subsequent integration into our IT system landscape

*Planning and implementation of the expansion and maintenance of the IT infrastructure in our Munich office (e.g. WiFi LAN printers telephone system conference systems)

*Management of the device pool (laptops smartphones ...)

*Setting up operating systems and user accounts using JumpCloud MDM

*Technical management of a colleague in the IT support of other teams (IT ticket system)

*Developing training for employees on basic IT topics (e.g. Google Workspace email calendar security)

*General janitorial work to keep our office in good shape.

Hiring Process

1) Get to know each other check if it fits from a human standpoint (Jurek head of IT)

2) Technical interview (Jurek and 12 colleagues) questions about MDMs (mobile device management which tools are used to deploy windows devices how would you solve a nonfunctioning wifi problem)

3) Task that has to be solved in 4 hours ticket that employee has once asked & candidate should communicate the answer to it.
It often depends on the problem being solved & it being communicated nontechnically as many employees are not techies. Sometimes they also have to set up handson wifi.
In general they simulate daily tasks. (Onpremise)
