We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our technical support team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of our organizations IT systems and infrastructure. You will provide technical assistance to our employees and ensure the smooth operation of our technology resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Point of Sale Software installation and troubleshooting.
- Corporate application installation, maintenance and troubleshooting like Office 365. Adobe
acrobat reader etc. - Network devices Installation and troubleshooting. Like switches, routers, access points etc.
- Installation and Troubleshooting of POS peripherals e.g Printer, Card Reader, Barcode reader,
- Fingerprint scanner, Signature Pads.
- VoIP Phone Installation and troubleshooting.
- Internet Down troubleshooting.
- Run PCI Scan to protect Payment systems from Vulnerabilities.
- Offer recommendations on upgrades needed in Hardware, Computers and operating system.
- Resource monitoring of computers and laptops.
- Preventive maintenance, including patch management.
- Remote management and maintenance of servers created in AWS cloud, VMs, Hyper .
- New Internet Order / Internet Cancellation Service
- Finding the ISP, collect the quotes and schedule installation of new Internet after
- Confirmation from client.Finding the ISP, collect the quotes and schedule installation of
- New Internet after confirmation from client.
- Internet Cancellation on behalf of client
- Recommendation on upgrading the Internet package in case of slow Internet issue
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience working in IT support roles, with a strong understanding of desktop, laptop, and network troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of networking principles, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
