About the Role

As a trusted partner Yusudi is thrilled to be backing Vertex Group in their search for an experienced IT Sales Executive requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience selling IT software and hardware solutions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of the IT industry excel in communication and negotiation and possess a track record of achieving multimillion shillings revenue targets in a fastpaced environment through direct selling and channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Position our company as the category and industry leader.
  • Engage existing clients: Reach out to existing clients to introduce new products services or special offers.
  • Generate new leads: Conduct coldcalling send cold emails and engage in outreach activities to create interest in our offerings and generate new business leads.
  • Client meetings: Meet with potential clients to understand their needs and interests and develop customized sales strategies.
  • Maintain client relationships: Follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction with our products or services identify opportunities for growth and nurture relationships.
  • Product presentations: Present products or services to potential clients to generate interest and leads.
  • Sales activities: Conduct sales activities through various channels such as phone calls facetoface meetings emails events etc. to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client engagement: Build strong relationships with potential clients understand their needs for future sales pitches or proposals and deliver presentations and demonstrations articulately and confidently.
  • Proposal writing: Respond to tender documents and write proposals reports and supporting literature.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to travel to client sites for meetings project scoping and implementation.


Requirements

  • Technical and sales expertise: a minimum of 2 years experience selling IT software and hardware solutions.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness: Understanding of market trends and customer needs.
  • Analytical mindset: Meticulous and logical approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure: Capacity to meet sales quotas under challenging circumstances.
  • Team player: Collaborative approach towards achieving organizational goals.
