IT Risk Manager

Job Title: IT Risk Manager

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies policies and procedures for IT risk management.
• Identify and assess ITrelated risks including cybersecurity threats compliance issues and operational vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to prioritize risk mitigation efforts.
• Maintain risk registers matrices and other risk management tools.
• Monitor emerging IT risks and trends and provide recommendations for proactive risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Provide training and support to staff on IT risk management best practices.
• Prepare and present reports on IT risk management activities and findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in IT risk management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CRISC CISA CISSP) is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of IT risk management frameworks standards and methodologies (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST Cybersecurity Framework COBIT).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to assess complex IT risks and devise effective mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of conveying technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Experience in a regulated industry (e.g. finance healthcare) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in risk management tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong commitment to integrity ethics and confidentiality.
