Job Title: IT Project Manager
were seeking a project manager who has experience with Cloud readiness assessment and implementation. Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning models would be a considerable plus. Further details on the required expertise can be located in the job description attached to the post.
The individual must be prepared to work during the 4 AM to 1:30 PM CT shift which corresponds to 3:30 PM to 1 AM IST.
While the role offers the flexibility to work from home the candidate should be prepared to travel to the office if necessary on any given day.
In this visible and critical role you will be assigned to complex clientfacing engagements as an Agile Delivery Manager for infrastructure focused initiatives. You will be part of a Program team of cross functional experts mobilized to address critical requests generated from both internal and external sources. You will enable and support the adoption of our agile Transformation Delivery Framework (TDF) by closely collaborating with our application partners to deliver quality solutions tailored to meet the functionality speed cost and flexibility for our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with limited direction from the TDF Program Leads lead a matrixed team of system design engineers system build engineers and infrastructure technologists to successfully deliver multiple concurrent infrastructure changes in a largescale enterprise environment
Meet customer and project objectives by developing and managing project execution functions including planning tracking reporting reviews quality management and communications risks and issues within the construct of the Agile Technology Delivery Framework
Predict understand and document customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them
Manage project schedules resources and delivery commitments
Delegate integrate activities and resolve conflicts
Complete assigned projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
Develop and maintain infrastructure and resource cost estimates
Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
Interact with and report regularly to the TDF Program Manager executive project sponsors and senior technology leadership
Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas products and/or approaches when appropriate
Provide leadership in steering projects toward defined standard infrastructure solutions platforms and best practices
Ensure the infrastructure adheres to the requirements for availability stability and efficiency
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Atleast 1 year of Agile methodology and delivery experience
5 years of Technologybased Project Management experience at a Fortune 200 company
6 years of Project or Program Management experience integrating multiple business areas or systems
6 years of experience across multiple information systems disciplines demonstrating strong technical acumen and infrastructure technology experience
Strong project management and planning skills including experience in successfully managing major projects with use of and adherence to structured methodologies
Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects/programs
Proven experience with budget tracking and complex cost benefit analysis
High degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent ITrelated concepts effectively with executivelevel management
Work with a sense of urgency and ability to use considerable judgment to determine solutions necessary escalations and to seek guidance on complex problems
Excellent judgment analytical ability and problem analysis techniques
Adaptability; selfstarter; team player; quality minded; focused; committed; able to work independently
Ability to perform in a high pressured environment
Provide strong leadership presence
Proficiency in computer software including MS Project Power Point Excel
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
Assets:
CSM/PSM Certification.
Previous infrastructure technology experience such as server network security and data center infrastructure for application middleware database and web environments
Previous UnitedHealth Group or subsidiary work experience
Healthcare technology background is a strong plus
Exposure to multiple project management methodologies
PMP Certification
Previous experience using productivity tools including CA Clarity Rally and Service Now
Professional Services consulting or Big 5 Project management experience
Cloud/AI/ML knowledge/experience
