Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define the project scope objectives and success criteria.
  • Identify key stakeholders including IT and agency representatives.
  • Develop a project charter that outlines roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and track the assessment of the current SharePoint environment including data information and site collections.
  • Develop a detailed migration plan including timelines and milestones.
  • Establish clear communication channels with IT and agency stakeholders.
  • Hold regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress.
  • Collaborate with agency stakeholders to verify the accuracy of critical data.
  • Coordinate and track the evaluation of customizations in the current SharePoint environment and assess compatibility with the new environment.
  • Coordinate and track the development of a comprehensive testing plan for the migrated SharePoint environment.
  • Coordinate and track the thorough testing of data integrity access controls and functionality.
  • Coordinate and track the creation of ongoing support and documentation to assist users in the transition.
  • Schedule coordinate and track the actual migration of data information and site collections.
  • Monitor the migration process to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.
  • Evaluate the success of the migration against the defined success criteria.
  • Create a final project report summarizing the entire migration process.

Desired Skills:

  • Five (5) years experience leading a PMO or Portfolio Management
  • Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months successfully managing a project that involves migrating to or enhancing technology in a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Five (5) years experience performing IT Project Management functions
  • Ability to manage and mediate stakeholder requirements and input as they relate to a project scope and objectives.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze project requirements and inputs and make decisions that result in high quality project outputs.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint Online and Teams
  • Ability to lead project teams using Agile and traditional project management methods
