Job Description

As an IT Governance and Compliance Officer, you will work remotely from home (in India) with colleagues and stakeholders in multiple geographies.

We are a product-led company, and as such, our product is the driver of our business. As an IT Governance and Compliance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring OnceHub s compliance with key regulations and standards, including PCI Level 1, HIPAA, GDPR, FERPA and US RAMP certifications, as well as adherence to contractual obligations to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contracts. Evaluate company processes for adherence to established procedures and policies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and provide recommendations to management on control design and effectiveness in order to minimise risks across functional areas.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and oversee the management of external audits.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Monitor and report on the regulatory environment, identifying potential compliance threats to the company.
- Advise on the proper implementation of relevant legislation and regulations, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- A recognized risk or audit certification.
- Proven experience in IT compliance and privacy auditing.
- In-depth understanding of IT compliance and privacy regulations such as PCI Level 1, HIPAA, GDPR, FERPA, US RAMP certifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 6 years experience in an IT or Privacy compliance audit role

A degree from a reputable university A track record of excellence 3+ years experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS company Experience in leading and driving execution with cross-functional teams Excellent interpersonal skills Native English speaker or English at a very high level Excellent written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders Curiosity, and the ability to understand business and client needs Ability to analyze and simplify complex systems Experience in implementing products using Agile methodologies (advantage)
