IT Digital Solution Architect

As an IT Digital Solution Architect you are the design authority for software products and platforms we develop or compose across the digital solution spectrum (e.g. web mobile IoT data and AI/ML). You are a trusted thought leader with a handson attitude who thrives on collaboratively solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions for our internal and external stakeholders.

Expected contributions:

Creating and documenting endtoend solution architectures for initiatives informed by proactively engaging and advising stakeholders on vision and roadmaps functional and operational requirements goals and constraints. You facilitate decision making by clearly articulating options and tradeoffs highlighting the relation between business strategy and technology. You pragmatically apply wellarchitected principles and frameworks and aim for resilience and agility.

Evaluating vendor solution and software architectures platforms technologies and other offerings and making decisionready recommendations.

Enabling fluent implementation and deployment by closely collaborating with architects developers engineers squad members and guiding them with architectural expertise.

Cocreating and evangelizing reusable reference architectures standards patterns and other artefacts to accelerate timetomarket for new systems reduce their cost and/or risk.

Being a trusted thought leader on modern technologies languages and frameworks architectural styles patterns and practices. You will collaboratively define strategy roadmaps and champion community adoption.

Driving continuous improvements internalizing and scaling learnings and best practices.

Cutting through the noise and driving to the essence of problems proposing solutions with a natural simplicity that are easy to understand implement and maintain.

Requirements

A masters degree in computer sciences Software Engineering or equivalent.

At least 7 years of experience working in software engineering of which at least 5 in a software architecture or solution architecture role. Experience in endtoend digital solution design and development using modern architectural styles patterns and practices. Practical knowledge of various backend frontend and integration techniques technologies and languages.

Proven expertise with cloud (native) architectures and wellarchitected frameworks including security. Wellrounded knowledge of cloud products and services (Microsoft Azure or other leading platform) and handson deployment automation and administration experience.

Experience architecting both bespoke solutions as well as composed solutions with sufficient focus on fault tolerance recoverability performance interoperability and other desirable nonfunctional requirements.

Integration knowledge including experience designing solutions around APIs eventbased paradigms usage of iPaaS

Datacentric mindset constantly thinking about how a solution s data can be easily exposed to enable future products and usecases and speed up business decisionmaking.

Experience in a regulated environment is a plus. Understanding the responsibility of solution architecture in achieving security and compliance goals.

Some experience architecting solutions with AI or GenAI aspects.

Good understanding of product management agile principles and development methodologies.

Passion for working in multidisciplinary teams (squads) embracing different perspectives to drive better outcomes. Able to inspire and rally commitment for novel ideas and approaches.

Strong business acumen communication negotiation and influencing skills.
