Role Summary:
As the IT Assistant and Facilities Sentinel at Staff Domains Office Facility you play a crucial handson role in maintaining operations. Youll support the IT and Facilities Administrator with various tasks while occasionally assisting with logistics and coordinating with Building Administration for permits and documentation. Additionally youll address immediate concerns related to maintenance cleanliness and overall orderliness to ensure a smoothly functioning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Assistant
  • Provide ongoing support to your immediate supervisor assisting with various IT tasks as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the IT Service Desk ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Assist in coordinating and setting up workstations for staff members.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and perform basic hardware repairs when necessary.

2. Facilities Sentinel
  • Offer daytoday support to your supervisor addressing facilityrelated matters promptly.
  • Oversee the Facilities Service Desk handling inquiries and requests efficiently.
  • Ensure essential facilities like water and air conditioning are properly maintained for optimal functionality.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing parcels at the office facility facilitating smooth logistics operations.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of all company assets including PCs monitors furniture and office supplies.
  • Uphold cleanliness and orderliness throughout the office facility including desks floors and communal areas.
  • Distribute office supplies as requested by staff members and keep a meticulous log of stockroom inventory.
  • Document all activities and human traffic entering or leaving the office premises.
  • Respond promptly to facility alarms and equipment failures ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide timely assistance to facility occupants addressing their requests and concerns effectively

Requirements

1. Education and Experience:
a. A diploma or degree in Information Technology Computer Science Facilities Management or experience in a related field would be beneficial.

2. Technical Skills:
a. Proficiency in IT support including troubleshooting hardware and software issues setting up workstations and managing IT service desks.
b. Basic knowledge of networking principles computer hardware and operating systems.
c. Ability to perform basic hardware repairs and maintenance tasks.

3. Facilities Management Skills:
a. Experience in facilities management or a willingness to learn about facility operations including managing supplies maintaining cleanliness and addressing maintenance issues.
b. Familiarity with building systems such as HVAC plumbing and electrical systems.

4. Organizational Skills:
a. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
b. Attention to detail in maintaining inventory records tracking office supplies and documenting activities.

5. Communication Skills:
a. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to interact with colleagues supervisors and external contacts.
b. Ability to convey technical information clearly and understandably.

6. Customer Service Orientation:
a. Customer service mindset with a focus on providing timely and effective support to staff members and facility occupants.
b. Willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of others and resolve issues promptly

7. ProblemSolving Abilities:
