Investment Officer Senior Associate

Reporting to: Principal & Partner

Our client is a leading Investment Management Group in Africa with business focus in Private Equity and Asset Management.

The Investment Officer will be involved in providing leadership across all aspects of the

investment process. She/ He works with other senior members of the firm to prepare the

deals for the investment committee and effectively liaises with key stakeholders.

Requirements

Desired Requirements

Preferred graduate degree in business or finance.

8 years of relevant experience including at least 3 years experience from a reputable private equity firm with an existing track record.

Solid track record in deal origination structuring due diligence risk analysis portfolio management and exits.

Has successfully played a key role in raising and managing multimilliondollar PE funds.

Implemented rigorous due diligence processes and risk assessment frameworks to ensure investment viability and minimize potential downside risks.

Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams.

Sound judgment particularly in valuation matters with strong analytical skills and the ability to talk through previous deals comprehensively.

Comfortable leading initiatives as well as working well in a collaborative team environment.

High degree of integrity and personal and professional ethics

Desire to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization.

Proficiency in French is highly desired.
