Internal ELV Systems Estimator

Purpose

Work Overview

• Develop and manage detailed cost estimates for integrated ELV systems encompassing BMS light control home automation wired and wireless networking and data center infrastructure.

• Thoroughly analyze technical documents specifications and blueprints to accurately assess project scopes across diverse ELV domains.
  


• Engage in active collaboration with the Presales Engineer sales teams and technical departments to align estimates with both client expectations and technical requirements.
  


• Conduct site evaluations as necessary to confirm project details and requirements especially for retrofitting and upgrading existing systems.
  


• Offer innovative and costeffective solutions for advanced BMS smart lighting home automation systems robust networking infrastructure and data center setups.
  


• Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in smart building systems network technologies and home automation to enhance the value and efficiency of proposed solutions.
  


• Support bid and proposal processes with accurate detailed and compelling financial and technical documentation.
  


• Liaise with vendors and contractors to secure optimal pricing and services for all project components ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  

Requirements

Prerequisites

• Proficiency in specialized estimation software relevant to ELV and networking projects as well as MS Office Suite.
  
• Deep knowledge of ELV systems networking infrastructure smart building technologies and industry best practices.
  
• Exceptional analytical problemsolving and technical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across different departments.
  
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or a related technical field with a strong focus on ELV systems and smart technologies.
  
• Demonstrated experience in estimating complex projects involving BMS light control home automation and networking systems (including Cat6 fiber optics WiFi and IDF/MDF networks).
