Intake Manager


Career Consulting Partners has recently formed a partnership with a highly respected plaintiff firm focusing on Wage & Hour Class Actions Complex Litigation the Private Attorneys General Act the California Labor Code and Labor & Employment. We are actively searching for anIntake Manager to work out of our office in Glendale CA. To be considered for this job you must possess the willingness to manage and develop a team responsible for receiving and processing new clients. This role is of utmost importance since it involves being the initial point of contact for clients with our firm. Therefore the ideal candidate must ensure that our high standards of operational excellence are reflected in the first interaction with the client.


The ideal candidate should be able to analyze incoming client calls to determine whether our services can be of any assistance. The role involves handling a high volume of incoming client calls and being responsible for a significant number of followups.

Primary duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Screen emails internet voicemails for potential clients
  • Carry out the initial client interview with empathy and compassion
  • Persistently monitor all potential new client inquiries (email internet phone and referrals)
  • Immediately contact every potential client and establish a relationship with the client
  • Follow up with pending inquiries daily
  • Update logs to reflect the status of all potential new clients at all times
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to complete the initial consultation process
  • Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databases
  • Follow instructions of management and perform accordingly
  • Write emails take notes research cases fax copy and create spreadsheets to track referrals clients and other pertinent information.

  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team;
  • Ability to pay very close attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage their time and multitask effectively;
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure;
  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook Word Excel) and other applications and/or systems (i.e.Adobe Internet);
  • This position requires physical activity including but not limited to bending stooping repetitive motion andlifting of up to 20 pounds (lbs.).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 23 years of experience working in a law firm;
  • Knowledge of Personal Injury Employment Law and/or Workers Compensation is strongly preferred;
  • Professional appearance and get it done attitude;
  • The right candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Bilingual fluent in English and Spanish is required.
