More About You

• You have experience with our broker management system (SigXP) or something comparable.
  
• You have a strong interest in the insurance industry.
  
• You posses a Level I or Level II General Insurance License.
  
• You are naturally inclined to take initiative independently; you are resourceful and like staying uptodate.
  
• You demonstrate an othersfocused approach to people
  
• You possess betterthanaverage computer skills your typing skills are up there with the best of them!
  
• You can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  
• You are detail oriented organized and able to multitask. You understand the significance of these skills.
  
• You can work at a quick pace under pressure; possess time management skills.
  
• You like people and are willing to serve them with a smile even when conflict arises.
  

More About the Role

• Preparation of correspondence such as premium comparisons premium breakdowns submission documents certificates pink cards policy binders invoices promotional information and renewal proposals
  
• Handling obtaining organizing and compiling information and documents pertaining to a clients application
  
• Managing relationships with clients insurance underwriters insurers and referring partners
  
• Responding to client inquiries regarding insurance coverage billing issues claims and certificates of insurance
  
• Providing quotations for potential policy changes
  
• Reevaluating appropriate personal insurance coverages on existing lines of business
  
• Processing renewals to ensure retention of existing client relationships
  
• Entering and maintaining client information in the broker management system (SigXP)
  
• Processing policy changes on insurance company portals
  
• Managing data in our internal software and on insurance company portals
  
• Answering and directing calls and emails to employees of the brokerage
  
• Provide support to sales staff as needed
  
• Referring other First Foundation services to clients
  
• Preference will be given to candidates with 35 years of insurance experience but people with less experience a great attitude and a willingness to learn will be considered
