Your Role

Our Inside Business Development Representatives are responsible for expanding PSC Software s international business opportunities. As an Inside Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in the future expansion of PSC Software into new markets and the long-term success of the software division. This role is an outstanding opportunity to learn and grow as a salesperson in the competitive and technical life sciences industry. To succeed, you must dedicate yourself to continued education in sales and working with a "practice makes perfect" mentality.

  • Make outbound sales calls where you will engage with new prospects (from a list provided to you) to present PSC Software products and solutions
  • Develop creative email campaigns in your assigned region to supplement outbound calls to new prospects
  • Assist in the development and execution of other unique outreach campaigns
  • Manage your prospects as you cultivate relationships to generate leads for PSC Software s field sales team
  • Work with Business Development Managers to contact prospects before and after events like trade shows and conferences
  • Work with marketing and business development to build creative and informative materials to send to prospects and clients
  • Work with Business Development Managers to incorporate target companies into your outreach cadence
  • Generate sales reports when necessary
  • Document sales activities in CRM
  • Travel as needed
  • Complete other activities deemed necessary by management to achieve department goals



Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or related experience
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience with sales, business development, and client relationship management - We are hiring the next generation of sales representatives
  • A passion for sales and technology
  • Highly effective planning and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in MS Office and analysis software desired
