This is a remote position.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. The HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to both management and employees aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational success. This role requires a combination of HR expertise business acumen and interpersonal skills to partner with various departments effectively and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing HR strategies fostering a positive work culture and enhancing employee engagement and performance.

Job Description:

  • Interpret awards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Draft and complete employment contracts ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Develop tailored policies and procedures in accordance with Australian legislation and industry best practices.
  • Create customized employee handbooks to meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Draft position descriptions to reflect job duties accurately and requirements.
  • Handle complaints from employees resolving issues in a timely and fair manner.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards (NES).
  • Draft confidential letters related to termination redundancy and end of probation periods.
  • Develop training materials to support employee development initiatives.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for training sessions and workshops.
  • Prepare fact sheets to communicate key information and updates on legislation and regulations.


  • Requirements


    • Previous experience working with an Australian company in HR demonstrating familiarity with local regulations and practices.
    • Ideally possess a degree in Human Resources or a related field providing a solid foundation in HR principles and practices.
    • Ability to interpret legislation particularly Australian employment laws such as the Fair Work Act to ensure compliance.
    • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
    • Strong research skills to gather and analyze information effectively staying updated on industry trends and best practices in HR.
