The Human Resources Business Partner will support the CPO and the Head of UK HR with significant organizational change and wide-ranging initiatives, while partnering with the General Managers and leadership teams across our US sites. This role requires substantive and practical employee relations experience and employment law knowledge to coach and provide up-to-date guidance to stakeholders. The HR Business Partner will partner and share responsibility with the business leaders for the achievement of people goals and targets, as a member of the broader HR team; they will contribute to effective performance of the HR department and engagement of the employees within it.
Key Responsibilities;
Actively contribute to the development, implementation and management of the overall business plan and objectives, delivering from a people perspective.
Create, lead and advise on all aspects of the employment life cycle.
Provide leadership and management direction in all HR and people-related activities, ensuring timely and meaningful updates are provided and understood with actions progressed and closed out.
Ensuring that the HR initiatives, processes and practices are fit for purpose and creating improved ways of working.
Help drive a performance culture, creating and co-delivering L&D programs to improve overall business performance.
Supporting ongoing organizational growth by identifying competency gaps and linking to IQE s internal development offerings to support employee career development.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Interpret and apply human resource policies in employee relations concerns. Identify and clarify problems; conduct investigations, evaluate and suggest potential solutions; and provide coaching and counselling for managers and staff.
Manage and administer health and welfare plans.
Serve as EEO Compliance Office for Affirmative Action and maintain IQE s Affirmative Action Plan.
Manage leave programs and partner with HSE in managing workers compensation claims and return to light duty program.
Responsible for ensuring IQE complies with the requirements for Labor and Ethics under the RBA Code.
A minimum of 5 years of human resource experience is desirable.
Experience with full-range benefit administration
Experience with employee relations and conducting investigations
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, coaching and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent time management, organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
