DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Accounting and Financial Department, you will be responsible for supporting the financial Director in all tasks and accounting procedures.


  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using our bookkeeping system;

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation;

  • Record revenues, investments, prepaid and bad debts;

  • Responsible for month end journal entries;

  • Preparation of GST/QST report;

  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports and KPIs;

  • Help with the auditors and the end of financial year process;

  • Payroll preparation and remittance reporting;

  • Assist with working paper preparation and filing.



COMPENSATION

  • 3 weeks of vacations

Profil

QUALIFICATION

  • DEC or BAC degree in administration or accounting

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word

  • Working knowledge of Acomba software and ERP system ( an asset)

  • Ability to learn quickly, understand requirements and communicate effectively

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and French

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Teamwork skills, autonomous, self motivated and resourcefulness

  • Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality

  • Experience in food packaging (an asset)
