Job Summary:
As a Caf Hostess you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers. Your primary role is to greet and seat guests manage reservations and assist in maintaining an organized and efficient flow of the caf .
Responsibilities:
  1. Greeting and Seating Guests:
  • Warmly welcome customers as they enter the caf .
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
  • Ensure that guests are comfortable and assist with seating arrangements.
  1. Reservation Management:
  • Handle reservation requests through phone calls or online platforms.
  • Maintain an organized reservation system and update it as needed.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and waitstaff to manage reservations efficiently.
  1. Customer Assistance:
  • Provide information about menu items specials and promotions.
  • Address customer inquiries concerns and special requests.
  • Monitor and manage customer waiting lists during peak hours.
  1. Maintaining Cleanliness and Ambiance:
  • Ensure that the dining area is clean tidy and appropriately set up.
  • Collaborate with the cleaning staff to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Assist in creating a pleasant ambiance with appropriate lighting music and d cor.
  1. Coordinating with Staff:
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Relay customer feedback and special requests to the relevant team members.
  1. Handling Payments:
  • Process customer payments and provide accurate change when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the cashier to ensure a smooth payment process.
  1. Assisting with Events:
  • Collaborate with the management team to organize and execute special events.
  • Ensure that events run smoothly by coordinating with staff and customers.
Qualifications:
  1. Customer Service Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  1. Organizational Skills:
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage reservations and customer flow.
  1. Team Player:
  • Ability to collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff for efficient operations.
  1. Adaptability:
  • Flexibility to handle a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  1. Professionalism:
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  1. Multitasking:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
