This position manages MIS for the SA&D team. Extraction of data and putting them in meaningful format
for the utilization of stakeholders both internal and external. Preparing reports in Excel PowerPoint
Visio etc. Preparing and scheduling data downloads and running real time queries as required.
Maintaining contractual information in a digital format. Informing relevant stakeholders about the
contract renewals. Preparing review tables pivots graphs on the contracted data points. Ensuring
timely information is provided to relevant stakeholders on the performance of sale/flown data points
Responsibilities and Duties
This role requires a keen eye where the responsibilities are:
Prepare reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Assist the line manager by providing data in a timely and organized manner
Utilize technology and or automate to save time. E.g. Macros in Excel
Utilize various reporting methods to prepare the data for the purpose of contract negotiations
forecasting monitoring and deriving reports for profitably managing the business
Create presentations for stakeholders; both internal and external
Communicate clearly and precisely (both verbal and written) on what exactly is expected from the
stakeholders
Keep a track of all the contracts and inform the line managers on renewals
Compile regular variance reports
Identify data anomalies and act upon it on a timely manner
Provide reports on a need basis
Qualifications
Degree in Commerce or Tourism
35 years of relevant knowledge and work experience in a commercial and/or analytical job at an
Air/Travel company
Great track record of managing revenue lines and achievements there of; in both B2B and B2C
environments
Proficiency in working with MS Suite of tools like (advance) Excel PowerPoint Visio etc.
Company confidential; only for limited circulation
High understanding of data handling and high degree of selfresponsibility
Excellent communication skills
Lean / Six Sigma knowledge would be preferred
Supporting line manager in any new projects and or initiatives
