Highly Educated Nanny

We would adore finding a full-time nanny/childcare provider near Minneapolis, Minnesota who can start immediately! The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to take initiative and is looking for a long-term fit. Mom and dad want someone who is smart, who will help LO to grow and prosper!

As a full-time nanny, your job is to engage the infant and age-appropriate developmental activities. These can be games, reading, playing with toys, and encouraging pretend play. This family prefers to avoid electronic use. Additional duties will include sleep training, introducing soft foods, creatively extending tummy time, and encouraging cognitive development.

The family is paying between $22.00 and $27.00 an hour for a nanny with at least two years of professional experience working with babies or infants. The parents are also offering a paid vacation package for the right long-term nanny.

Schedule of Coverage Needed
Monday through Friday 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM

Childcare Job Benefits
Pay: $ 57,000 a year paid hourly, plus time and half over forty (40) hours a week.
Three Weeks of Paid Time Off

Nanny Job Responsibilities:
Support the pre-established schedule
Engage the child in age-appropriate developmental activities
Design small crafts and activities for baby
Frequently read to LO
Transport the toddler to playdates, activities, and other child-related events.
Play outdoors, even in winter (within reason).
Prepare meals and snacks, and wash up after yourself.
Maintain a clean kitchen and empty the dishwasher every day
Keep play areas tidy

Childcare Preferences
Must be a United States citizen or hold a work visa
A high school degree, GED, or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years working in a paid childcare setting with infants and toddlers
Please have a great vehicle and a clean driving record for this babysitting job.
Knowledge of age-appropriate childrens growth and development.
Possible Early Childhood Education Coursework (ECE) or Childhood Development Associates (CDA) in college or university
Possible teaching license for Kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12), or previous experience as a preschool teacher or assistant in daycare.
We are looking for a nanny candidate who communicates thoroughly and is highly responsive.
First Aid/CPR/SIDS Certification for infants, toddlers, and/or adults.
