Our client is a worldclass technology online marketplace with a platform that connects global electronic wholesalers to retail storefronts. They aim to formalise the fragmented and inefficient secondhand electronics market. The platform functions as a stock exchange that allows buyers and sellers to submit buy and sell requests. They automatically connect the two parties with compatible bids and execute the trade. They are currently looking for a Sourcing Specialist in Shenzhen 100% remote.
Job Description
Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.
Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
Negotiating price quantity and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all
details of the negotiation.
Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in administration logistics supply chain or related field.
Proven experience in sourcing processes in the electronics space
Proficiency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint excel and outlook.
A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies
Strong negotiation skills
Sound timemanagement and organizational skills
