Job Description: Head of Operations
Location: Port Harcourt Rivers State

As we continue to expand our portfolio and presence in the industry we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to join our team who can stand in for the MD when needed
Position Overview:
The Head of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency and ensuring the seamless execution of projects. Reporting directly to the MD this position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the architectural and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee all operational aspects of the firm including resource allocation workflow management and process improvement initiatives.
2. Team Management: Provide guidance mentorship and support to department heads and project managers where needed to optimize team performance and enhance project delivery.
3. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the MD to develop and implement strategic plans goals and objectives to drive business growth and profitability.
4. Financial Management: Manage budgeting forecasting and financial analysis to ensure optimal resource allocation and costeffective project execution.
5. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and partners to ensure client satisfaction and drive business development opportunities.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays cost overruns and other operational challenges.
7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and standards to uphold the firms reputation for delivering highquality designs and services.
8. Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations codes and standards to uphold legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in architecture engineering business administration or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in operations with experience in a leadership role within the architectural or construction industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Understanding of architectural design principles urban planning concepts and project management methodologies is an added advantage.
Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations codes and standards.
