Job summary

As the Head of Finance the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. He/she will play a critical role in driving financial strategy planning analysis and reporting to support business growth and operational excellence. He/she will also possess strong leadership skills strategic vision and a deep understanding of financial principles within the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with the companys objectivesensuring alignment with longterm goals and risk management strategies.
  
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process working closely with department heads to develop financial targets and performance metrics.
  
• Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support decisionmaking and resource allocation.
  
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports including income statements balance sheets cash flow statements and variance analysis.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  
• Identify and assess financial risks including market credit liquidity and operational risks.
  
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the financial health of the organization.
  
• Manage cash flow liquidity and capital allocation to optimize financial resources and support business operations.
  
• Monitor banking relationships investment portfolios and debt obligations to maximize returns and minimize costs.
  
• Streamline financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  
• Implement best practices for financial controls internal audits and compliance to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  
• Collaborate with executive leadership board members and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
  
• Build strong relationships with investors lenders regulators and other key partners to drive business growth and sustainability.
  
• Lead and mentor a highperforming finance team providing guidance coaching and professional development opportunities.
  
• Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement within the finance department.
  

Qualifications and skills:

• Proven work experience as a Head of Finance Director of Finance or similar role
  
• Handson experience with budgeting and risk management
  
• Proficiency in accounting software
  
• BSc/BA in Accounting Finance or relevant field
  
• MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
  
• Indepth knowledge of financial principles practices and regulations including IFRS SEC requirements and industryspecific standards.
  
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations for executive decisionmaking.
  
• Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  
• Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding capabilities with a track record of driving results and fostering a positive work environment.
