Head Of Accounting

Dear Coffee is looking for a dedicated strategic and analytical professional to join our team as a Head of Accounting. The successful candidate will oversee our financial operations ensure compliance with accounting regulations and contribute to our strategic decisionmaking process. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Lead the accounting operations upholding compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Policy Management: Develop maintain and enforce financial policies procedures and internal controls.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Conduct annual budgeting and deliver precise financial reports to the leadership team.
• Team Leadership: Supervise daytoday tasks within the accounting team covering payable and receivable accounts and payroll.
• Audit Coordination: Organize and manage the annual audit collaborating with external auditors.
• Strategic Input: Participate actively in financial planning and strategy sessions driving fiscal effectiveness.
• System Improvement: Assess and ameliorate accounting software and processes enhancing efficiency.
• Interdepartmental Support: Provide financial advice and support across the company.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay informed of accounting standard amendments ensuring seamless compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA is an advantage.
• Work Experience: At least 5 years in a senior financial management role with a comprehensive accounting and financial expertise.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and systems knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Team Management: Successful leadership and team development experiences are crucial.
• Strategic Skills: Exceptional capability in financial planning budget management and forecasting.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills fit for a remote and office setup.
