Head - Manufacturing

1. Position Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management and performance of our manufacturing plant ensuring that it operates efficiently safely and in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. They will be accountable for enhancing / streamlining of our plant and stabilising production. Key deliverables will be meeting profitability targets production targets quality standards cost control and statutory & environmental compliance.

1. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute plantspecific business plans in alignment with the organizations goals and objectives.
• Identify and support new business opportunities.
• Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production quality and manpower utilization throughout the plant.
• Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs improve product quality & increase profits.
• Ensure Plant is setup and streamlined as per the requirement
• Plan coordinate and oversee all plant operations including production maintenance logistics and quality control.
• Monitor and drive improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure that production schedules and targets are met on time and within budget.
• Driving the culture VA/VE and continuous improvements in product and processes.
• Ensure customer concerns are addressed on priority by the team and preventive actions where required are put in place.
• Ensure that robust maintenance planning routines and methods (Inspections & preparation) are in place to optimize/maximize plant performance
• Responsible for P&L of the business by maintaining raw material cost and other costs at optimum level in line with bestinclass industry standards
• Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceeds customer expectations.
• Ensure implementation of quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure implementation of Quality Management System for the plant.
• Build Manage and develop a high performing team that delivers on business plans.
• Manage the allocation of resources including personnel equipment and materials to optimize production output.
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture by promoting diversity equity and inclusion initiatives. Ensure fair labour practices prioritize employee wellbeing and provide opportunities for skill development and advancement.
• Control costs by developing and managing budgets and cost reduction strategies.
• Will be responsible for Capex and Opex of the plant safety Compliance and ESG:
• Ensure culture of safety and compliance by enforcing safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures to protect employees and the environment.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure adherence.
• Ensure regular safety audits are conducted and corrective actions are implemented as needed.
• Ensure delivery on Environmental Social and Governance Goals of the organization.
• Ensure transparent communication of the plants performance particularly concerning environmental and social impact including regular reporting on sustainability initiatives and progress towards ESG goals.
• Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards to maintain a responsible and sustainable operation.
• Communicate regularly with the leadership team to provide updates on plant performance and issues.
• Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators production goals and other relevant metrics

1. Qualifications and Requirements:

• M.Tech / B.E Mechanical
• Minimum 20 years with about 10 years in similar capacity of running a production plant
• Product Companies preferably in skid pressure vessel oil &water console production
• Understanding of oil and gas industry
• Experience of plant management.
• Experience of P&L management
• Proven experience in handling Plant Operations which includes lean manufacturing & mass production
• Advanced knowledge of any ERP system and advanced competence of MSOffice applications (Excel PowerPoint etc.)
• Knowledge of ISO9001 ISO14001 OSHAS: 18001 ASME Energy Management system standards requirements is a must
