About the Villa

The villa is located in Antibes. It is privately owned.

This is a secondary home.

The family is very nice and respectful willing to find a candidate on a long term basis.

This is a LIVE IN position.

You will have your own accommodation in the form of an independent apartment on the owners property. There is a separate entrance to access the apartment. Further information regarding the dedicated accommodation will be shared orally.

The project

We are looking for one Head Housekeeper ready to start working as soon as possible. Of course the owners are conducting a proper recruitment process to find THE candidate.

The workload will be less intense in the absence of the owners and a little more intense in their presence.
Flexibility is hence a key factor in this case however the management is extremely fair in terms of adjusting your total working hours over the period of a month.

You will be incharge of doing the housekeeping and the laundry.

From time to time and especially when the owners or their family are in the Villa you will need to give a hand in the service. This is family style service therefore we are expecting an informal style of service.

For the Housekeeping:

• You will be incharge of vacuuming/cleaning floors carpets surfaces etc.
• You will be incharge of making the beds changing linens setting up the bedrooms and bathrooms etc
• You will be incharge of cleaning/sanitising bathrooms showers toilets sinks and countertops
• You will be incharge of replenishing toiletries towels supplies etc
• Ensuring the main areas as corridors living rooms are always dusted tidy and well organised in accordance to the owners habits.

Most importantly we would like a Housekeeper who understands the habits of the owners and their way of living.

For the Laundry:

• You will be in charge of all the clothes and linen when the family is in the villa and other household linen such as towels bathrobes bath mats bed sheets pillowcases kitchen cloth table cloth etc.
• You will be in charge of washing them and cleaning them removing possible stains drying them etc.
• You will also be incharge of ironing the linen checking that they are in a perfect state before folding them in wardrobes or putting them on hangers in the dressings.
• You will be in charge of cleaning the wardrobes and the dressings.
• You will be in charge of putting the clothes and the linen within the proper wardrobes and dressings.
• You will be in charge of putting/changing the bedsheets on all the beds depending on the frequency given by the owners. The beds must always be immaculate and in a perfect state.
• You will also be in charge of contacting the dry cleaners for specific clothes that can not be washed by hand or in a washing machine but need specific treatment and ask them to come and collect them.

For Service: (when needed and when the owners family and guests are in the Villa)

• You will be incharge of meal services you will prepare the breakfast and you will assist Madam to prepare meals such as lunch and dinner.
• Setting up and cleaning the dining table ceramics cutlery etc before and after the meals
• Serving the food and drinks as requested by the owners in a discreet & professional manner
• Ensuring a discreet execution of Meal Service without being noticed by the owners behind the scenes

We are also looking for someone who could help Madam with the preparation of simple breakfasts and/or meals for dinner (family style cuisine) from time to time and especially when the owners are there

Desired profile

• You must be very autonomous and able to report and respect your hierarchy at the same time.
• We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and likes to work in private households.
• Previous experience as a housekeeper or as a Housekeeper is MANDATORY.
• You are comfortable in housekeeping service and laundry.
• You are a multitasking person and flexible able to follow the processes that are already implemented and able to be reactive when facing something unusual.
• You are a smiling and positive person you respect confidentiality and you are trustworthy and discreet. You have a positive attitude generally speaking and you have a great sense of human relationship communication comes with an ease.
• You are organized and you know how to prioritize your tasks during the day you equally know how to balance different rhythms especially winter/autumn compared to summer season and especially when the Villa is occupied/unoccupied.
• You are always on time and present well you make sure that your appearance is always clean and professional
• You MUST speak French.
• You MUST have a driving license as you can not access the Villa easily public transport option can not be considered.
• You DO NOT HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD you are honest and trustworthy.

Salary : 2300 euros net / month

Contract: French CDI contract

LIVE IN position: Independent Private Apartment on the Property

2 days off

Weekends off when the owners are not around and flexibility is required when they are in the Villa you will have one day off during the week and you will catch up on the following weeks.
