Project Chhalaang a flagship initiative of ELMS Sports Foundation is on the lookout for a Head of Fundraising and Partnerships. Launched in 2022 our goal is to enable a million children to play by 2027 making the righttoplay a reality for every child in India. This transformative program merges sports with education aiming to foster holistic development inclusivity and a passion for learning among children. It seeks to bridge educational gaps promote health and build resilient communities all while challenging stereotypes through innovative approaches.

Role:

As the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships for Project Chhalaang you will be at the forefront of driving our nonprofit organizations mission of empowering underprivileged communities through sports and education. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker who excels in creating and nurturing partnerships and who is adept at unlocking diverse funding channels to support our initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive fundraising and partnership strategies aligned with Project Chhalaangs goals.
2. Identify cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners including corporations foundations government agencies and other relevant organizations.
3. Develop and implement innovative fundraising initiatives exploring new revenue streams and enhancing existing ones.
4. Lead mentor and grow a team of fundraising and partnership professionals fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
5. Engage and steward major donors ensuring their ongoing commitment and support through effective communication and relationshipbuilding strategies.
6. Oversee the grant process from identifying opportunities to proposal submission and compliance with grant requirements.
7. Conceptualize and execute highimpact fundraising events leveraging them to build relationships and increase funding
8. Manage the fundraising budget ensuring optimal allocation of resources and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
9. Stay abreast of market trends in fundraising and partnerships adapting strategies to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
   
   Act as a key spokesperson for Project Chhalaang in various forums advocating for the organizations mission and building its profile

Desired Qualifications Experience and Competencies:

1. Education: Bachelors degree required preferably in Business Marketing NonProfit Management or a related field. Masters degree or professional fundraising certifications are advantageous.
2. Experience: Over 12 years in nonprofit sector with 6 years in leadership roles and 6 years specializing in fundraising.
3. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning particularly in fundraising and partnership development.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
5. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing highperforming teams.
6. Excellent networking abilities and experience in building longterm productive partnerships.
7. Strong analytical abilities with a problemsolving mindset capable of understanding and responding to complex challenges.
8. Excellent organizational and project management skills capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
9. Genuine passion for and commitment to the mission and values of Project Chhalaang with an understanding of the transformative power of sports and education in community development.
