OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
This is an exciting opportunity to utilize significantly honed skills as a local meeting planner to the Austin area (including transportation logistics event production teambuilding etc.) and cultivate sales through a geographic territory assigned hotel or assigned House Accounts. To lead a sales team consisting of an Account Manager and Program Design Associate to successfully create proposals and develop secure and execute said programs.
You crush every site visit by being prepared and planning for surprise and delight to win every client’s business. You have a strong track record of achieving or exceeding your sales goals and live breathe and eat the events industry.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Minimum 2 years of s strong sales skills effective closing skills leadership organization time management strong Communication Excel and Word oneonone personal interaction and outgoing and positive attitude.

Work Hours
The position does not have a specific workhour requirement. Rather the workload is unpredictable and seasonal. During their busy season January May they typically work at least 50 hours a week including some nights and weekends. This is the nature of this position which can be stressful and also very rewarding at the end of the day.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is salary plus progressive commission/bonus structure.
