Job Description:
- PhD Masters degree in electrical/ electronics engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in application software development in fixed and floating points
- A knowledge of typical BEV MHEV and PHEV system solutions and technologies.
- Understanding of regulatory needs applicable to BEV and PHEV solutions
- Extensive experience in AUTOSAR complaint auto code generation
- Must have developed AUTOSAR compliant model for power electronics products like OBC/DCDC converters/motor control/Inverter/BMS
- Extensive experience in development of AUTOSAR architecture using System Desk
- Experience of modelbased systems engineering tools and techniques (ideally CATIA Magic Systems)
- Extensive experience in diagnostics strategies and design activities
- Hands on experience on communication protocols used in automotive industry
- Extensive experience in MIL & SIL using Simulink Test manager
- Proficiency in requirements definition and requirements management tooling (DOORS or similar)
- Experience of requirement definition and management within a complex hardware / software or electronic project (ideally within the automotive sector).
- Understanding of systems engineering V lifecycle working experience with ASPICE process
- Experience in version control tools like Tortoise SVN Git
- Experience in Rally/Jira or similar project management tools
- Working Knowledge of Problem Resolution Techniques e.g. 8D; Experience of design FMEAs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience of meeting deadlines.
- Strong people skills and the ability to work individually and in a cross functional team
- The ability to manage a design/project through to production and manage several parts across multiple vehicle programmes
- Experience of Change Management
- The ability to make effective decisions in the best interest of the business and customer
- The ability to understand commodity timing plans (including Design Verification plans programme plans and supplier timing plans)
