Group Head Operations

Position Summary:

To lead and upgrade the Banks Operations to ensure operational efficiency & effectiveness. Ensure the operational standards are updated and inline with the regulatory guidelines & implementation best practices to ensure that customers are provided with best banking products and services. This is a leadership role reporting into the President/CEO

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for developing the Operations strategy inline with the Banks Business Plan and ensuring an effective and efficient operating model for the Bank.
2. Play an integral part as driver of the strategic planning OPEX budgeting and forecasting of human resources based on operational projections and requirements.
3. Aligning the Banks operational activities to support business its continuity contingency planning.
4. Ensure optimum usage of technology & creation of efficiencies by reliance on technology in the Bank.
5. Set direction and standards to improve operational efficiency within the Bank.
6. Ensure implementation of policies and strict adherence to internal and regulatory compliance.
7. Devise and implement plan to ensure process of centralized foreign trade services to branches and CPU Trade with a view to improve efficiency while minimizing costs.
8. Supervision of Treasury Operations that includes Foreign Exchange Securities and Money Market Instruments processing settlement etc.
9. Supervision of Credit Operations Department (COD).
10. Develop and manage the annual consolidated budget for all ITrelated activities.
11. Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulatory guidelines. Fulfill all SBP and internal reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

• Masters or equivalent from HEC recognized University or accredited Foreign University in the discipline of Banking Finance Economics Business Administration and related field.
• 15 years of position related experience with Islamic Banking exposure
