Sacramento-based client is seeking a temp-hire Grants Accountant to provide assistance with grants management accounting operations for the organization. This is a fully on-site position with a pay rate between $36-$41/hour depending upon relevant experience. For further information regarding this position, please attach your resume.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately track and review grant job costing
- Provide assistance in developing the yearly budget for the organization
- Manage the organization's grant budget and grant portfolio
- Prepare accurate financial reports for governmental entities
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of experience in non-profit accounting, grants accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working in a non-profitpreferred
- Experience using Quickbooks required
- Experience using Excel (mid to advanced-level)
