Netafim is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to oversee all operations at our manufacturing plant.

Main mission goal of position:

The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the plant and develop a product portfolio to supply other Netafim BUs keeping the factory on an acceptable utilization level. This includes planning and coordinating production activities managing a team of engineers designers production supervisors and workers and ensuring that the plant operates safely and efficiently. The Plant Manager will also be responsible for controlling production costs improving production efficiency and establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers customers and other stakeholders.

Major areas of responsibility main processes tasks:

HSE Safety & Compliance:

1. Overall responsibility for employee safety work in accordance with routines and procedures that ensure employee safety.
2. Assure compliance with HSE regulations and company guidelines.
3. Ensure that the plant operates safely and in compliance with corporate & local standards guaranteeing all relevant laws and regulations are in place.

General Managing:

1. Fully manage the plant including its production product portfolio planning engineering maintenance quality and operational excellence.
2. Develop a product portfolio in coordination with other Netafim BUs and in accordance with the factory s capabilities.
3. Manage a team of engineers designers production supervisors and workers properly organized staffed trained/developed monitored and effectively reviewed.
4. Build effective capable and high performing collaborators.
5. Ensure the plant s necessary resources including personnel equipment and materials to meet production goals.
6. Participate in industry events trade shows and professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices and new technologies.
7. Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure that products are produced efficiently on time and to the required quality standards.
8. Develop and implement production schedules and budgets.
9. Manage the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working conditions to operate at standard in quality time and volume.

Business Opportunities:

1. Identify and drive product supply opportunities to maintain the factory running at a highperformance level.
2. Offer value proposition to internal customers ensuring proper technical & financial offers to meet volume mix and profitability.
3. Ensuring knowhow sharing and crosscollaboration with other Plant Managers.
4. Ensure and respect the production SLA framework.

KPI data and Improvements:

1. Guide the plant in achieving its KPI targets derived from global targets.
2. Lead and coach improvement initiatives such as Lean and Operational Excellence and other projects to improve quality reduce costs improve OEE save time etc.
3. Maintain and improve production efficiency including identifying and implementing process improvements and new technologies.
4. Prepare reports and analyze data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
5. Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as productivity quality and ontime delivery.

Interfaces:

1. Be actively involved in country and regional operations leadership teams.
2. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers customers and other stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new production systems or improve existing ones.
4. Handle customer complaints together with the Quality management team and resolve productionrelated issues in a timely and effective manner.

Costing and Finance

1. Monitor and control production costs including raw materials labor and energy usage.
2. Oversee capital and operational expenses.
3. Actively participate in the design analysis and definition of the AOP (Budget).

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in engineering business or a related field.
• 10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment including managing internal and thirdparty teams as well as projects and initiatives.
• 5 years of experience in a production management role.
• Experience with Lean principles and Operational Excellence.
• Deep knowledge and experience in endtoend production and SC processes.
• Vast knowledge and training in operations and procedures including production planning and plant machinery.
• Proficiency in English
• Crosscultural work experience advantage
