Mody Pumps Canada Inc. is a part of international holding Mody Pumps Inc., one of the fastest growing submersible pump manufacturers worldwide. We draw from almost half a century of experience in the submersible pump industry to deliver products that embody superior quality, reliability, peerless customer services and solid after-sales support. We serve the dewatering, municipal, industrial, marine, rental and waste water management markets by offering a complete range of dewatering pumps and a full line of wastewater and sewage pumps.

To direct operations of our company in Edmonton, AB as General Manager, we are looking for a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in managing business operations and sales.

Requirements:

Masters Degree in Engineering or / and Management
10+ years of experience in managerial positions with the companies specializing in production and sales of equipment for water systems and water pumps of various types in particular, within which at least 5 years should be in senior managerial positions
Comprehensive experience in national and international sales management
Adept in demand planning, forecasting, fulfillment, inventory management including point of sale material and distribution
Comprehensive experience in managing production operations with key focus on bottom line profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
Efficient in spearheading the development & implementation of key procurement strategies / contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with production requirements.
Budget management and financial monitoring
Expertise in digital marketing,
Knowledge of various international codes and standards in respect of the heavy engineering industry including ANSI, ASME, SMACNA
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Public speaking and presentation skills, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills
Team and relationship-building skills,
Strategic thinking and change management skills
Effective at conflict resolution / problem solving skills
Willing and able to travel and stay overnight on a regular basis,

Duties and Responsibilities

Accelerate growth by establishing tools for the companys development, implement policies, pioneer new strategies and tactics to enhance market penetration, drive new programs that target new and existing customers and partners
Develop short and long-term operational strategies and action plans that address opportunities, positively impact the business and enhance Clients experience.
Create new departments, co-ordinate and monitor the work of regions, divisions or departments
Manage a budget and assist in the design of improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
Make human resources planning, build, develop and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives, appoint managers, and create optimum working conditions
Direct, coach, and lead the team in the day-to-day operations of the Mody Pumps Canada Inc.
Set, monitor and support performance goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment and accountability with corporate strategy.
Identify and research new revenue opportunities in current and potential markets with the possible opportunities for increasing visibility, brand recognition, and engagement with multiple audiences
Actively monitor and adjust to market, trends and competition
Manage compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and codes and maintains all associated records and reports.
Build relationships and alliances, internal and external, network with others, using knowledge of industry-leading marketing procedures, situations, and culture in the organization to identify opportunities.
Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions

Terms of the job:

Permanent
Full-time 40 hour per week
Wages: $55.28 / hour - $115,000 annual
