General Labour - Aerospace

One of our Aerospace clients located in the Whitby area is in search of a contract Quality Inspector/General Labourer to work in their production warehouse. This position can be converted to fulltime within or after a 3 month period if the successful candidate is performing well. This is a Monday to Friday job (7am 3:30pm). Successful candidates MUST HAVE prior Inspection and shipping experience.

Job Description:

Handle inspection of products upon delivery during work or before shipping to ensure quality

Assist with shipping of nuclear military and/or aerospace materials.

Perform General Labour tasks

Must be a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant to be considered

Must have prior Inspection experience in a warehouse enviornment

Must have shipping experience

Have the desire to learn a trade in the Aerospace field.

Be interested in working with your hands.

Being able to physically handle products materials supplies and equipment up to 50lbs.

Be able to communicate read and write effectively in English and collaborate with other team members.

Have basic mathematics skills.

Experience:

High school Diploma is preferred (OSSD); or equivalent.

0 3 years of general labour work experience.

Forklift license would be an asset

Experienced candidates will be considered.
