Key Responsibilities:

• Performing gastrointestinal surgeries including laparoscopic procedures
• Conducting endoscopic examinations and interventions
• Evaluating and managing patients with complex digestive system conditions
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated patient care
• Participating in clinical research and academic activities
• Adhering to clinical practice guidelines and maintaining patient safety
• Training and mentoring medical staff and students
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
• Continuously updating professional knowledge and skills
• Providing consultations and second opinions to other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Gastroenterology and General Surgery
• Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship program
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration
• Demonstrated experience in performing advanced gastrointestinal surgeries
• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures and interpreting results
• Strong knowledge of digestive system disorders and treatment modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to evidencebased practice and continuous quality improvement
• Ability to work in a demanding and dynamic healthcare environment
• Publication record in peerreviewed journals is desirable
• Experience in teaching and supervising medical trainees
• Detailoriented with exceptional problemsolving abilities
• Willingness to participate in oncall duties
• Adherence to professional ethical standards and patient confidentiality
