Full Stack Web Developer

Are you a talented Full Stack Web Developer eager to join a fastgrowing and leading technology ecommerce retailer We are looking for a reliable selfstarter with a strong focus on Javascript and PHP to develop and maintain software that drives a highvolume web store interfacing with various systems and a wide range of integrated technologies.

As a Full Stack Web Developer you will be responsible for owning and maintaining features deployed across our Website stack as well as implementing new features that accelerate the desired direction of the business. You will work in a crossfunctional team with touchpoints from customerfacing web frontends to setting up the backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills and experience working with various data sources API integrations and middleware. Additionally they will have solid experience with the modern Javascript ecosystem AWS and Digital Ocean knowledge and a deep understanding of Relational Databases.

Responsibilities:

• Build and Maintain features deployed across our web stack WordPress Shopify PHP Go High Level
  

• Implement new features that accelerate the desired direction of the business
  

• Design solutions that work efficiently with currently deployed systems
  

• Keep the customer experience at the forefront when designing and implementing solutions
  

• Work in a crossfunctional team with touchpoints from customerfacing web frontends to setting up the backend system
  

• Maturing/refactoring currently active codebases and bringing them in line with industrystandard style practice and guidelines
  

Qualifications:

• Comfortable using various programming languages relational databases
  

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  

• Experience working with various data sources API integrations and middleware
  

Requirements

• Strong fullstack development skills
  

• Deep understanding of Relational Databases
  

• Demonstrable experience with the modern JavaScript ecosystem ES6 React/JSX Angular Vue or similar Nodejs NPM/Yarn
  

• Backend/serverside JavaScript (Lambda/SAM Serverless framework Express APIs etc)
  

• AWS knowledge SQS EC2 Lambda RDS CloudFormation
  

• Unixbased OS skills OS maintenance system upkeep system configuration
  

• Understanding of security principles and active design guidelines against potential threats
  

• Ability to debug issues that manifest from the customer level to the backoffice
  

• Solid understanding of standard data formats and serialisation data schemas and maintaining data integrity
  

• Managing codebases using version control (Git) working with automated deployments and pipelines (continuous integration/delivery)
  

Strongly Desired Experience:

• Working Cloudflare knowledge
  

• Experience with Ecommerce systems (Magento Shopify etc)
  

• Experience working in an Agile environment: Kanban Scrum or similar frameworks
  

• Ideal candidates will also have:
  

• Java/JSP and related web application experience
  

• Retail/POS experience
  

• Microsoft 365 knowledge
