Position: Front End Developer (JavaScript HTML CSS)

Duration: 9 Months Location: Philadelphia PA

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Front End Developer with expertise in JavaScript HTML and CSS for a 9month duration. The successful candidate will collaborate with our team to translate concepts into pixelperfect HTML/CSS/JS manage projects throughout the design development and QA phases and contribute to the enhancement of userfacing features. The position is based in Philadelphia PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate design concepts into pixelperfect HTML/CSS/JS ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Manage projects from design inception through development and quality assurance phases.
• Collaborate with a variety of Content Management Systems (CMS) and ecommerce systems and frameworks.
• Code software applications to align with internal business requirements or external customer needs.
• Standardize quality assurance procedures for software development.
• Oversee testing processes and develop fixes as needed.
• Work on progressive redesign and maintenance projects to enhance the daily customer experience with our brand.
• Develop new userfacing features optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
• Assure the validation of all user input before submission to the backend.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Enable and configure necessary plugins to power the sites functionality.
• Identify blockers and apply creative solutions within company guidelines.
• Stay abreast of current trends in web development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field and 5 to 8 years of experience in frontend development.
• Solid knowledge of standard concepts practices and procedures within frontend development.
• Demonstrated creativity and latitude in problemsolving.
• Experience working with a variety of CMS and ecommerce systems and frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript HTML and CSS.
• LightningJS experience (though thats always tough but I know GCS pretrains in Lightning now)
• Someone with an eye for design and experience with component libraries
• Strong JavaScript background
• Some unit testing experience highly preferred/ nice to have
• Strong attention to detail to ensure pixelperfect implementation.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Proven ability to optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Familiarity with current trends in web development.
