The Spot is looking for a Front Desk Manager who will be responsible for making a great first impression on our tenants, potential tenants, and visitors. If you are communicative, a people person, and a real problem solver this might be the position for you. You ll be there to greet people at the front desk, prepare common spaces for the day or special events, and help with technical issues and requests from tenants. You ll even get to explore and apply your creative side when organizing special event nights for tenants and visitors. And of course, there are administrative tasks, where you ll have to use your detail-oriented skills. You have the chance to make people happy and to help to create a really positive and fun workplace with us.


About The Spot

The Spot Budapest is located in the Kir ly Street 26 building in the heart of Budapest. Kir ly Street is defined by its great location. We aim to be the latest hotspot in this contemporary cultural center in the heart of Pest the ideal place to work, educate yourself or just hang out with a vibrant talented community.
The building, a piece of art in itself, will fill you up with good vibes and energy all year round. Most notable for the jungle aesthetic in the heart of the bustling city, Kir ly 26 is also close to many restaurants, bars, and fitness centers.

What you ll do

  • Greet people who come into work, meet or tour the offices.
  • Schedule tours, send confirmations and conduct building walkthroughs and embrace The Spot spirit.
  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs; assist with the Operations Manager and Space and Facility Manager to ensure the highest level of member experience.
  • Participation in onboarding processes - creating cards, registration, sending invitations, assisting new members.
  • Ensuring members have a smooth experience and that the space is kept to a high standard.
  • Mail and deliveries responsibilities.
  • Reception email account management + main contact phone number management (handling office, event, membership leads, other interests).
  • Procurement of tools necessary for the operation of the office and common spaces (milk, coffee, other beverages, kitchen equipment, toilet paper etc.).
  • Keeping common spaces in order with the help of the daytime cleaner.

What you need to succeed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in the Hungarian and English language is a must.
  • Circa 1 year of experience in operations and/or office management.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and programs: Slack, Trello, Teams, etc.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements.
  • High level of integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
