Overview

The Freelancer Financial Sales position plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue for the organization. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with clients to sell financial products and services providing valuable financial advice and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and conduct cold calls emails and networking to generate new leads
  • Understand clients financial needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet those needs
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while providing exceptional customer service
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting client relationships
  • Stay updated on financial products market trends and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals and targets
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
  • Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and KPIs
  • Utilize CRM systems to track and manage client interactions and sales processes
  • Report on sales activities progress and achievements
  • Attend industry events and conferences to expand professional network
  • Stay informed about competitors and their products
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics or related field
  • Proven work experience as a financial sales representative or in a similar sales role
  • Strong understanding of financial products markets and industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and close sales deals
  • Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a customerfocused mindset
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Strong networking and relationshipbuilding abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Financial industry certifications (e.g. Series 7 CFA) are a plus
