Location: Hybrid London/Remote 2 days per week in London

This role requires SC clearance and in future will require DV clearance. Upon joining Cloudscaler we will undertake SC clearance checks so you must be eligible to pass SC clearance and ideally DV clearance.

What were looking for

We are looking for a FinOps Delivery Manager with a thorough understanding of cost optimisation within the cloud to lead on the implementation of FinOps practices across multiple engineering teams.

You will be driving a culture change to embed FinOps practices so will need to be proactive resilient and driven to change mindsets and ways of working.

• Cloud FinOps experience either AWS or Azure. Experience in a multicloud AWS and Azure environment is ideal
• Experience setting up Cloud FinOps operations
• Experience driving culture changes ensuring FinOps practices are adopted and embedded by all engineering teams
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms ideally AWS and where changes to engineering practices can be made to reduce costs

What youll be doing

You will be working with our customers to implement and improve their FinOps approach to ensure cloud financial management and controls are implemented.

You will be leading the implementation of a new FinOps practice ensuring all engineering teams adopt and embed new ways of working to ensure FinOps compliance

• Driving change across multiple teams motivating them to embed a FinOps culture within their work
• Championing FinOps across the organisation promoting the benefits of cost optimisation
• Embedding FinOps culture best practices and change throughout the organisation
• Working closely with cloud engineering teams to identify opportunities to reduce costs and/or optimise usage
• Ensuring cloud FinOps and cloud usage complies with security and compliance regulations
• Implementing tagging strategy across teams
• Implementing financial management processes and strategies ensuring a view of costs across all vendors
