Role Description
Monitor compliance with set accounting and reporting standards as well as internal control systems and ensure compliance with company statutory and fiscal requirements and timelines.
Maintain a focused system of internal controls to provide an effective and efficient control over the assets liabilities accounts payable accounts receivable revenues statutory compliances and expenses.
MIS preparation basis actuals & budgets and analysis basis key parameters.
Lead statutory/tax audit and internal audit of Companys accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external accounting standards and ensuring compliance with all findings / recommendations.
Ensure adherence to statutory compliances and ensuring proper documentation of all books of accounts.
Responsible for the safekeeping and updating of all leases and vendor contracts which may affect the financial status of the business.
Setting up processes for accounts department:
a. Procurement to payment
b. Sales recon and booking
c. Monthly closing
d. Capex accounting and tracking
Support and advice on financial and commercial matters to the General Manager Operations and the COO to support business development initiatives major pricing and purchase / procurement decisions and other commercial decisionmaking.
Recruit and retain the best accounting people for the job especially at the regional / local unit level making use of succession planning to develop and replace individuals effectively.
Establish and maintain good employee relations within the Finance department.
Cash & Working Capital: Optimize cash position in an environment of tight control
Cost Management: Support the operation to optimize efficiency of the cost base
Requirements
510 years of F&B company controllership experience
F&B experience must
Preferably should have worked in a chain of restaurants or hotels
Cost Management Cash & Working Capital Capex Management Tax Audits Financial Controllership
