About the Job:

We are looking for a passionate content writer who can develop compelling content (longform articles social media emails) around personal finance and insurance products. Interest in personal finance and insurance products is essential as is a strong background in creating SEOdriven articles.

The Content Writer will be responsible for:

Creating personal finance (Insurance) category longform content focused on helping our readers optimize their spending across different insurance needs.

Create shortform content for social media eDMs SEM etc that helps drive traffic to our website

Optimize existing content by collaborating with inhouse SEO Specialist through SEO Audits and monthly content planning (based on Keyword SVs)

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in English Journalism Public Relations or related communications field.

3 years of editorial experience focused on longform content (blog articles campaign landing pages and other website content)

1 years of experience in personal finance category writing insurance preferably

Outstanding command of the English language and passion for saving money.

The ability to think like an educator intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it. Passion for authentic relevant quality and easytounderstand content that will provide valuable insights to our readers.

Training in how to tell a story using words images or audio and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience.

Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics) is a plus

Working knowledge of SEO and how it affects content marketing

Working knowledge of HubSpot

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
