Financial Analyst

Job Description :

Support the Data Center Transformation Programs Financial Management Team acting as a focal point for budget financials metrics development management reporting auditing and financial consulting for all projects associated with the consolidation.

DUTIES:

• Is accountable to make sure all financial spend for the program is at or below budgeted amounts and if not to immediately take steps to notify upper management and program management of the issues and causes of overspend.
• Act as consultant to project management teams to interface with WW finance and resolve issues regarding financial treatment of spend processes used to spend and management of financial infrastructure (cost centers time tracking etc.) used by those teams.
• Administration of 3rd party labor spend and purchase order management. Reconciling bills from 3rd party service providers to ensure accuracy and spend management.
• Accountable for producing timely efficient accurate and cost effective monthly financial reports (monthly quarterly annual)
• Monthly account reconciliation and account analysis
• Assist with preparing internal and external budget presentations for senior management.
• Drive continuous process improvements to ensure a best practice operation.
• Perform financial analysis of monthly variances and other projects as required.
• Track monthly forecast variance prepare monthly journal entries and complete ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Other finance and accounting related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting or Commerce
• 5 years related experience (preferably in a multidivisional company)
• Experience supporting IT organizations is a definite asset.
• Ability to work under pressure adapting to changing priorities meeting strict deadlines and dealing with interruptions.
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Well versed in all other MS Office products
• Proven ability to resolve problems detail oriented flexible and independent.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks exceptional organizational and time management skills.
