Patient Financial Assistance Representative

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

The Patient Collections Representative services outbound and inbound calls from patients regarding billing inquiries concerns or related matters. The Representative provides a positive customer service experience that meets the needs of our patients by educating them on their bill listening to concerns and addressing issues.

• Make outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances and missing or incorrect insurance information.
  
• Answer escalations from our highvolume inbound customer call center.
  
• Resolves balance disputes and provides access to assistance options to patients.
  
• Collects and processes payment information from patients.
  
• Utilize laboratory billing system and other reporting resources to troubleshoot and address patient billing issues.
  

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications:

§ High school diploma or equivalent.

Competencies:

§ Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

§ Experience with Laboratory Billing Applications (Telcor and/or XIFIN preferred).

§ Excellent PC skills including MS Office applications.
