Financial Accountant

Tasks

In the position of Financial Accountant you are part of the Finance & Administration team at Destinus. In the position of Financial Accountant you are responsible for preparing the financial statements for our company and executing and optimizing various financial processes of our German establishment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Processing incoming and outgoing invoices..
• Create reports for accounts payable and accounts receivable. You are also the first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
• Internally you are the first point of contact for project management and purchasing.
• Processing intercompany transactions and the monthly reconciliation of these transactions.
• Timely processing of Tax declarations.
• Perform financial checks on ongoing projects.
• Preparing and checking management reports (weekly and monthly).
• Carrying out monthly closing activities in a timely manner so that MT reports and reports for internal and external stakeholders can be prepared.
• Carrying out work for financial audits.
• Other tasks that occur regularly to ensure correct and timely reporting.

Requirements

Our job requirements:

• You have an HBO level based on education or experience in Accounting Finance or Economics.
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
• You speak and write fluently English. English is the working language in our company.
• German is an advantage due to administration of European establishments.
• Traveling will be part of the position.
