We are searching for an experienced Finance Managerfor a 30 personheathtech start up. You will be joining at a crucial time of expansion into the US market and have both strategic and hands on ability to own and manage the finance function. This role will report into the CEO but work closely with People and Operations teams and requires someone who is happy to be both strategic and very hands on in a small start up.

You must be able to communicate the companys financial health and growth to potential investors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daytoday financial function and control of all financerelated operations whilst demonstrating a handson approach
• Review and improve current accounting processes (They have previously used consultants but have decided to bring finance function in house)
• In depth reporting to investors
• Strategic financial forecasting to align with growth goals
• Management of financial operations include accounting financial reporting tax audit and compliance.
• Collaborate with other executives and senior managers to develop and implement the companys overall business strategy and ensure financial sustainability.
• Create and manage a yearly financial plan and budget allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum return on investment.
• Analyse and evaluate financial performance identifying opportunities for growth optimisation and risk mitigation
• Ensure financial policies and procedures are in place and adhered to promoting transparency and accountability.
• Prepare quarterly and end of year financial reports for the Senior Leadership team and the Board of Directors.
• Managing international finance operations with specific emphasis on the US markets is essential (company expanding into US)

Experience:

• Relevant qualifications in Finance Accounting or a related field.
• ACCA qualified
• Proven experience as a standalone Finance Manager or in a similar finance leadership role in a startup or fastpaced environment. (Bonus points for an interest in health tech/mental health space.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies financial planning budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience of managing the daytoday finance function in a standalone role.
• Knowledge of USA marketregulations and tax implications
• Experience in reporting to investors
• Knowledge of different funding sources and structures and proven experience in revenue growth strategies
• Advanced financial modelling skills for scenario planning and decision making is essential
